At the University of Montana, Western, the Title IX Coordinator ensures that all staff members designated as Title IX Coordinators, investigators, decision-makers, and those facilitating informal resolution processes receive comprehensive and ongoing training. This training is designed to meet the specific requirements set forth by Title IX, ensuring an impartial, fair, and bias-free process for all parties involved. 

As part of our commitment to upholding Title IX standards, involved personnel have attended the following training sessions. 

Spring 2026 Trainings

• February 26, 2026 Individual Training Session with UM Title IX Coordinator – Title IX Overview An Overview for involved Personnel – 
• June 10, 2026 – Discrimination & Harassment Course through Need – Covered Equal Opportunity & Discrimination, Title IX & Sexual Harassment, Retaliation, Mandated Reporting and Hazing. –
