Our peer academic coaches are UMW students who were specifically selected by their departments. Sure, they performed well in their classes and know the subject matter鈥攂ut more than that鈥攖hey鈥檙e connected with faculty, careful listeners, effective communicators, and committed to helping you get the most out of your education.

The Learning Center is located in the lower level of the Library鈥攚e also offer online sessions, which you can select when you make an appointment.

Come to the Learning Center if you want to talk with someone else who鈥檚 already taken the class you鈥檙e in class successfully鈥攚hether you鈥檙e acing the class or you want help working through some concepts.
